Record number of strikes blow Russia’s military industry to smithereens

The systematic expansion of Ukraine’s long-range strike campaign against Russia's defense industrial base represents a critical shift from tactical attrition to structural disruption of the adversary's military-industrial capacity. By employing diversified arsenals, such as the newly fielded FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles and Storm Shadow systems, Ukrainian forces are bypassing dense air defense networks through low-altitude, terrain-masking flight paths to exploit geographic and radar vulnerabilities. Rather than targeting front-line deployments, this operational logic directly degrades the upstream production of critical missile launchers, microelectronics, and chemical propellants at deep-theater facilities. The targeting of single-source nodes, like the Voronezh semiconductor plant and the Volgograd launcher facility, exposes severe structural vulnerabilities within the highly centralized Russian defense apparatus. Consequently, the cumulative degradation of these irreplaceable manufacturing hubs threatens to induce long-term component deficits, reshaping the strategic balance by permanently throttling the Kremlin's capacity to sustain high-intensity precision warfare.
