Today, we will discuss the most interesting developments along the front line, focusing on Kupiansk, Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka, Novopavlika, and Zaporizhia.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces continue to resist persistent Russian attempts to regain operational momentum, particularly near Kindrashivka. After successfully repelling a large-scale Russian frontal assault, which culminated in the encirclement and destruction of a significant enemy contingent, the Ukrainians have maintained firm defensive positions.

However, Russian forces have adjusted their tactics, moving through the south to outflank Ukrainian positions in Kindrashivka, hoping to capture the settlement and threaten a ground assault on Kupiansk from the north.

However, Ukrainians fought off the Russian attack south of Kindrashivka, as Russians were unable to transfer overwhelming forces across the river to secure a breakthrough. Despite this, Russians appear to have at least consolidated their positions along this flanking route, securing ground lines of communication as they advance. This means that it would now take a relatively significant effort and resources to dislodge the Russians from here.

Consequently, Ukrainian commanders have chosen to preserve their operational strength rather than pursue costly attacks. Instead, Ukrainian forces continue to apply pressure through artillery, drone strikes, and special forces raids, ensuring that Russian units remain contained and unable to advance any further.

Switching to the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops have repeatedly failed to break through Kostiantynivka's robust defenses, encountering significant resistance in the form of elaborate engineering fortifications, extensive trench systems, and dense minefields. After their previous large mechanized assault was decisively repelled with substantial losses several weeks ago, Russian commanders have refrained from initiating a similar-scale attack, suggesting their cautious recognition of the strength of Ukrainian defensive positions.

Toward Pokrovsk, however, Russian units have achieved incremental gains, primarily advancing through settlements and tree lines that offer limited concealment from Ukrainian observation and artillery fire. These settlements were never meant to be held, as Ukrainians project fire control from their positions across the river to the west. Now, Russian troops are engaging the defense ring east of Pokrovsk, facing concentrated Ukrainian resistance.

The coming days will be decisive: either Russian forces will experience a similarly costly defeat as witnessed near Kostiantynivka, or they will break through this initial defensive layer, potentially enabling ground assaults toward Myrnohrad.

In the Novopavlika sector, Ukrainian forces face persistent and heavy pressure from Russian troops, particularly along the frontline extending from Zirka to the north. Recent combat activity has significantly altered control lines, resulting in the emergence of the largest grey zone to date. Around the settlements of Oleksiivka, Bahatyr, and Zelenyi Kut, ongoing engagements suggest potential Russian consolidation.

An unexpected Russian advance has occurred around Zirka, allowing enemy units to bypass established Ukrainian positions and briefly engage with Ukrainian forces across the river. Although this maneuver has extended the grey zone, Ukrainian forces are effectively intercepting and eliminating Russian groups as they move.

Meanwhile, fierce fighting continues across the frontline near other settlements, where enemy infiltration groups are consistently being detected.

The village of Dachne in the Dnipropetrovsk Region has drawn media attention due to emerging signs of Russian incursions into its vicinity. Despite sensational coverage, Ukrainian Defense Forces swiftly neutralize these sporadic attempts, denying the enemy lasting footholds. The settlement of Novopavlika stands as the first settlement in the Dnipropetrovsk Region now under direct Russian threat, however the importance of which is purely of an information operational nature.

Switching to the Zaporizhia direction, the situation around the village of Kamianske has deteriorated in recent days, with Russian forces achieving some limited advances. Enemy units successfully broke through Ukrainian defenses in the central part of the settlement and are now pressing toward the northern outskirts, while simultaneously infiltrating and reinforcing positions in its southwestern section. However, Ukrainian drone operators have responded effectively, precisely targeting Russian assault teams.

Russian troops have notably increased pressure on Ukrainian lines here in recent times, launching probing and reconnaissance attacks, exploiting any small weakness they find. Although the Russians have gained ground, their strategic objectives remain limited. Capturing Kamianske itself does not offer substantial operational advantages due to the challenging terrain and its heavy exposure to drone surveillance. Ukrainian troops aim to maximize enemy losses, leveraging favorable positions and persistent drone strikes. Nevertheless, maintaining adequate supply and reinforcement for Ukrainian units here remains a critical factor influencing Ukraine's capacity to hold positions and inflict damage on the Russian attackers.

Overall, at Kupiansk, Ukrainian forces were exposed to a Russian outflanking maneuver after destroying a large enemy group, but have now stabilized the line.

Meanwhile, in the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian troops remain firm despite the continuous Russian attempts to penetrate deeply entrenched defense lines.

Near Novopavlika, despite Russian media claims of an advance into the Dnipropetrovsk Region, the significance of Russian advances remains minimal.

South of Zaporizhia, Russians have achieved a small breakthrough but are now under heavy Ukrainian drone fire.
