The deployment of the Izdeliye-30 cruise missile represents a tactical shift toward high-yield, cost-effective strike capabilities within the Russian aerospace forces. Featuring an 800kg warhead and a 1,500km range, this subsonic platform doubles the destructive potential of the Kh-101 while reducing production costs to approximately one million dollars. The system utilizes the Kometa-M12 digital antenna to maintain navigation integrity against sophisticated electronic warfare, addressing the high interception rates of older variants. By repurposing components from the Kh-35U naval missile, Russia bypasses industrial bottlenecks to maintain a high-volume production cycle. The use of Western and Asian microelectronics through clandestine channels continues to sustain these modernization efforts despite international sanctions. Consequently, the Izdeliye-30 serves as a medium-term solution to bridge the gap between industrial output and battlefield consumption.
